This page keeps things simple on purpose.
This page sets no cookies — no analytics cookie, no tracking cookie, nothing stored in your browser. The private admin dashboard, which only the site owner can reach, uses a sign-in cookie; it is never set on this page and is never sent to it.
When you visit or click a link, we record: the time, which platform link you arrived through, the country-level location of your connection, your device type, which broad family of browser you use (for example “Chrome” or “Safari”), and which link you chose. Country information is approximate and may be wrong when a VPN or mobile network is used.
We do not store your raw IP address or precise location. The IP address is used briefly to determine country and create a daily rotating anonymous hash, then discarded. The hash cannot be used to identify you across different days.
We also do not store the full user-agent string your browser sends. That string is detailed enough to help identify a specific device, so it is read in memory only, reduced to a device type and a browser family from a short fixed list, and then discarded. The original text is never written to disk.
Automated traffic — search-engine crawlers, link previewers, and vulnerability scanners — is identified as it arrives and is not logged as an individual visit at all. Only a running count per day is kept, so we can see how much of it there is.
Detailed logs are kept for 30 days, then deleted. Aggregated numbers (totals per link, per day, and the daily counts of automated traffic described above) may be kept longer for our own reporting — currently up to a year. These totals are counts only and contain nothing about any individual visitor.
